The Multi-Camera Encoder is supplied where there are numerous cameras, for example wireless CCTV, from which video could be transmitted.

This is a Windows based device with 16 analogue inputs. Cameras can be connected to any number of these inputs but not all of them will be transmitted at the same time. Depending upon how many concurrent live cameras are needed, the Multi-Camera Encoder is configured with the appropriate number of software encoders. So you may have 16 wireless CCTV cameras you wish to be able to transmit but maybe only 2 need to be transmitted at any one time. In this case, 2 software encoders will be installed, therefore, allowing 2 live wireless CCTV feeds. Clients using the configurator can then select which cameras are streamed through the 2 live channels.
