The Rapid Deployment Unit (RDU) is a remotely deployable battery-operated camera and transmission package where the Encoder is housed in a purpose built military style case with waterproof connections for deployment in even the harshest operating conditions.

The Rapid Deployment Unit is a field version of the Vemotion Streaming Server and Stream Manager applications. It is housed in a portable waterproof and weatherproof case and comes fully configured with a GPRS/3G router and highly powerful batteries for standalone operation either in Vehicle or ground based.
