The Software Encoder is a Windows based application that can be installed on any suitable laptop, PC or server.

This means that in many cases where existing hardware exists, such as Remote CCTV deployments or CCTV Vans, no additional computer hardware is required. The Encoder can simply be installed on the computers already in place (subject to specification).
