VB – 30: Multi-Channel Encoder

Multi-Channel Encoder

The VB-30 Multi-Channel Encoder takes up to 8 analogue video or IP camera and has 1 output that remote users can switch between cameras. Vemotion video compression technology is used to compress and transmit the video over a variety of networks, including low bandwidth networks such as GPRS and 3G/4G, back to a control room and, optionally, out to other remotely deployed operatives.

The VB-30 encoder has been designed with ease of use, reliability and flexibility in mind. The ability to connect multiple cameras and configure multiple outputs offers great versatility and efficient use of resources.

The transmitter requires power, video and any data-enabled SIM card to work (GPRS/3G version). Simply attach the cameras and switch the unit on, it’s that simple.

The unit will connect to a server application which can be installed in a central control room or any computer with fixed IP address. Then, by installing a viewer application on a PC or mobile phone, you can view live video from wherever you are. You can even control PTZ cameras and switch between different quality of video outputs, depending upon network conditions.

The Benefits of Vemotion

Vemotion’s highly efficient H.264 based video compression is optimised for very low bandwidths, meaning live video will be delivered reliably, even from the most challenging areas. The system is designed to be ‘plug and go’, is highly reliable and does not require any specialist SIM cards or expensive airtime contracts. Furthermore, allowing you to control the bandwidth used at any time means you are in complete control. As with all transmission technologies, seeing is believing – so call us for a demonstration.

The Vemotion VB-30 provides reliable and quality video transmission over low bandwidth networks such as GPRS and 3G, even in the poorest network conditions and most remote locations.
