Vemotion’s global expansion moves forward with Paris venture

Vemotion, the UK based wireless transmission specialist, has announced it will be establishing a new presence in Paris, to respond to increased demand for its innovative products and services within the French market. Set to open in October this year, Vemotion’s new base in France will ensure that the country’s agencies will have access to some of the world’s best in class video transmission solutions.

Having already worked in partnership with the Gendarmerie on several projects over many years, as well as bringing live streaming to Marseille’s bus network for the first time, Vemotion’s commitment to France marks an exciting new dawn as the first of several planned overseas ventures – something which delights Vemotion’s CEO, Stewart McCone.

“We’re pleased to be continuing our positive engagement with the French security market,” said Stewart. “Establishing a presence in Paris was a logical next step, as we continue to receive an upsurge in enquiries and opportunities from the French sector. We’re pleased to be making a positive contribution to the future safety and security of France and its citizens, through the delivery of high quality video services and of course our superb customer support”

In addition to the Marseille installation, Vemotion is working on multiple contracts with leading French security partners, who will help to promote Vemotion’s products at upcoming trade events. Vemotion’s French activities have been further boosted by its work with AN2V (, a not-for-profit ‘Think Tank’ promoting CCTV and surveillance throughout the country.

“AN2V has been working for over 12 years now to bring the French CCTV industry together on areas of mutual interest and during that time we have developed a strong working relationship with Stewart and Vemotion,” said Dominique Legrand, founder and President of AN2V. “The news that Vemotion will, now have an office in Paris is welcome news and as a supporter of Vemotion and its products for a number of years, we are very much looking forward to seeing them with a base on French soil.”

“We’re really grateful to Dominique, and everyone at AN2V (@an2v) for advocating the value of video surveillance in France and particularly our own innovative solutions.”

“Dominique has been extremely positive about Vemotion, and his support has been instrumental in enabling our French expansion,” said Stewart.

“The current global security situation calls for a high-quality, low bandwidth solution, which we are pleased to be able to provide. I am delighted that this is recognised and reflected by our activities in the UK and France, and also in North America, the Middle East, Africa, Asian and Eastern Europe, where we also have a number of key projects in the pipeline that we’ll be reporting on soon,” Stewart concluded.
