The Vemotion VB-300 is a compact industrial hybrid streaming encoder & recorder suitable for a wide variety of mobile (taxi, bus & coach, truck, train) or general video transmission applications.
Greatly enhancing streaming performance, the industrial standard VB-300 multi-media encoder delivers extremely low latency, high-quality images, even over low-bandwidths. Supporting 2 Full High Definition (FHD) cameras and simultaneous streaming of two FHD streams, the new encoder can also locally record video footage using an on-board 1TB SSD. For installation flexibility, the VB-300 can be used within a wide temperature range of 00C – 550C and for installation where space is at a premium.
Utilising Vemotion’s Real-time Incident Alert & Review software, all camera streams can be displayed in a split-screen mosaic, in either FHD or optional 4K resolution. Operators can choose to review, pause, rewind or zoom into a scene of interest, to see the event detail unfold as it happened – all whilst continuing to simultaneously view the live feed in the background. The capability to pause live video and rewind whilst still viewing live footage is invaluable to help verify the true course of events as they unfolded, to enable accurate and more efficient outcomes to incidents.
Capitalising on the latest 4-core Intel processor technology, the new VB-300 delivers low latency and high-quality images transmitted at efficient bitrates, making it ideal for use within the most challenging of wireless (GPRS, LTE, 3G/4G/5G, Wi-Fi and Satellite), or wired (UTP and fibre) network conditions.
